Our diaspora is seemingly rooted in pain. 

We were dispersed all over the globe as a commodity for Europe and the Americas.

Those of us who landed in the United States are left grappling at the broken string of identity, trying to piece together what parts of the world are truly for us. 

My answer? Any of it. All of it!
